The State of Password Managers in 2023
Just days before Christmas, LastPass published a blog post notifying their users that a malicious actor was able to access not only customers’ personally identifiable information (company names, end-user names, billing addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, and more) from a cloud service but also encrypted customer vaults containing the very credentials they were trusted with protecting. Of greatest threat is the risk of brute forcing into these vaults, phishing attacks, and more.
Kathy Zant has been working in security for years, and she has some insights into what is at risk and what we, as users of password managers, need to do in order to protect ourselves.
In this webinar, we’ll discuss the recent LastPass breach and what we can learn about this when protecting our digital lives (including our WordPress sites), and we’ll also evaluate the current state of passwords, password managers, two-factor authentication and more so that we can move into 2023 safe.
We’ll also talk about the solution to put passwords behind us with passkeys and the state of implementation of WebAuthn both by tech giants and iThemes Security.
I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article. https://www.binance.info/ka-GE/join?ref=JHQQKNKN
